You’re fine. Completely fine.

Then suddenly — a song comes on the radio. A smell drifts past. Someone laughs in exactly the right way. And in an instant, you’re not fine at all. The grief hits like a truck, out of nowhere, and you’re left wondering where did that come from?

That’s what I call a grief ambush — and if you’ve experienced one, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

In my latest video, I talk about why these moments happen, why they’re actually a completely normal part of grief, and most importantly, what you can do when one hits you.

▶️ Watch: Grief Ambushes — When You’re Fine Until You’re Not

Grief doesn’t follow a tidy timeline. It doesn’t care that you were just fine five minutes ago. It will find you in the supermarket, in the car, in the middle of a perfectly ordinary Tuesday. And that’s not a sign that something is wrong with you — it’s a sign that you loved someone deeply.

If grief ambushes are showing up in your life and you’d like some support, I’m here. Whether through one of my , a [1:1 session], or simply continuing to watch the series — you don’t have to navigate this alone.

💛 If this resonated with you, share it with someone who needs to hear it.
